It’s been about a year since we were considering relocating our studio to downtown Cadillac. It seemed like a suitable and exciting move to make for our tenth anniversary and something we’ve dreamed about for a long time. However, after looking at several commercial buildings and contemplating our options we decided to improve and transform the beautiful space we already have.

And so in April of 2016 renovations to partition the two-stall garage at our private residence began, as well a much needed expansion to our loft studio upstairs, which now gives us more shooting and storage room. Bonus!

The extra tall walls in the stairwell work great for hanging prints but we also needed an area to display our awesome line of gallery wraps, coffee table books, wedding albums, and custom cards. Most of all we wanted to create a more comfortable and homey place for wedding consults, portrait shoots, and ordering sessions.

Thirteen months later we are proud to finally show off our new showroom and excited about sharing this bright and cozy space with our clients. Our kitty, Cheddar seems to be enjoying it too! There’s no place like home <3
