Back in the 1940’s, Briar Hill Winter Park was a public ski area in Mesick, Michigan and host to ski jumping competitions offering five slopes, three tow ropes, two ski jumps, and one lodge. Hannah’s grandparents bought the property around 1974 and ran it until the late 1970s. Since then Briar has been privately used and is a beloved part of Hannah’s family history. For Hannah and Collin, this acreage is sacred ground. It is a place they return to yearly for Thanksgiving feasts, tree planting, hiking, saunas, bonfires, story telling, and other family traditions. From the first look to the last dance, Briar Hill couldn’t have been a more perfect location for Hannah and Collin’s wedding. We’re so honored they shared it with us!
