Crystle and Trevor met through mutual friends during a July 4th weekend celebration at Torch Lake in 2009. They quickly became best friends which later blossomed into a one-of-a-kind love.

Trevor proposed to Crystle on February 13th, 2020. After traveling several hours on wintery roads that morning to adopt their adorable pup, Ryplee, snowshoeing was the last thing on Crystle’s mind when they returned home that day, but Trevor wanted to get some photos and video on the trails at their property, and they had the rest of the afternoon off together, so Crystle was persuaded to join him. She was not surprised he wanted to venture out for footage on such a cold, blustery day since spontaneous adventures in nature and capturing fun, beautiful photos along the way is one of their favorite pastimes. She was, however, completely blown away after Trevor set up his camera at their destination, called her over for a photo together, then dropped to one knee and proposed to her. A new puppy and engagement….what a day!

Crystle and Trevor were married in late September 2021. Having met them before their engagement and getting to know them more during their wedding consultation and engagement photos, we knew they’d be a blast to work with. And with Crystle’s artful eye, mutual love for photography, and attention to detail, it would certainly be a beautiful event. Their ceremony, officiated by Crystle’s grandpa at the historic First Presbyterian Church in downtown Cadillac, was short and sweet, followed by a lush and whimsical celebration at Graheks Inc.. We’re honored this sweet couple chose us to capture their wedding day. Their love for each other is endearing and so evident in their photos.
