Taya describes herself as outgoing, friendly, positive, and caring. She’s involved in National Technical Honors Society through the Introduction to Health Care program at CTC and will be working on clinicals at Munson Hospital in Cadillac during her senior year. By February 2020 she’ll have earned her CNA certification which is something she’s very excited about.

Taya hopes to attend Grand Valley State University to pursue Sonography after graduation. Her goal is to get a job at a hospital on the labor and delivery floor or work at a women’s clinic. Her ultimate dream is to one day open a women’s clinic where people with lower income can come and get ultrasounds and help with their children.

Taya also participates in yearly mission trips all over the U.S.. She’s been playing the cello since 6th grade. and when she’s not at school she’s either working at Starbucks or boating and camping with her family. She especially loves boating so we couldn’t resit grabbing a few shots of her relaxing on the vintage Baja powerboat we spotted during her studio rep session. Her floppy sun hat and summery white floral top from Makse Boutique were a perfect match.
