Congrats! You finally got your hands on a shiny new DSLR camera. Let the fun begin!

So where do you start? What settings should you use to capture the kinds of images you desire? Hint: getting your camera off auto mode and into manual mode is crucial to creating more artistic photos! Understanding ISO, shutter speed, aperture and white balance, as well as light metering, composition and posing will make a world of difference in your pictures. Furthermore, knowing the purposes for external flash and interchangeable lenses (if you have or are interested in having these accessories in your bag) can also allow for more creative results.

We will provide instruction and helpful tips to eliminate the confusion you might have about using your new camera and would be happy to answer all of your questions in our first ever Basic Digital Photography Class! Classes take place at our studio and are offered one on one for $150 or two on one for $125 if you bring a friend! Both include a 2-3 hour private mentoring session in a relaxed, comfy atmosphere and will be scheduled on a weekday morning or evening at your convenience.
